It's only fitting . . .

. . . that my first blog post be a review, of sorts. I'd like to share with everyone a great bottle of wine. Last night, Bryant and I opened a bottle I purchased last year during the Holiday Wine Trip in Seneca Lake which is in Upstate, NY. The bottle ran about $40 from Red Newt Cellars. It is their 2005 Viridescens which is a blend of Cabernet Savignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah. The wine was smooth and had a somewhat 'spicy' taste to me. We snacked on our favorite wine crackers and enjoyed every drop of this bottle of wine. I would highly recommend it! Unfortunately, I doubt you can find a bottle of this wine at your local wine store!
